Let tarot transform your life
Tarot doesn’t just predict your future – it helps you create it.
This is your invitation to form a deeper connection with yourself, your purpose and your vision. Over the next five days, discover how tarot can be the key to self-discovery – helping you to trust your intuition, make insightful decisions and find your true path.
Each day, draw a single card, reflect on its message and let it guide your choices and actions for the day. Unlock your perceptions and step into your zone of power.
The Challenge
For the next five days, take five minutes each day to ask one specific question, draw just one tarot card and reflect on what it means. Look up the official interpretation, but let your intuition and imagination work on it as well. Let it lead you into new ideas and ways of seeing things. If you let go and follow, tarot can show you where to find your flow and how to step into it with clarity and confidence.
Day 1: Set Your Intention
Question: What do I need to focus on this week?
Reflect on your card’s message and set one clear, powerful intention for the week ahead.
For example, when I did this challenge myself recently, the card I drew was the Ace of Wands. This suggested a good intention would be to seek out new ideas – find opportunities for growth and follow my intuition.
Day 2: Seek Deeper Guidance
Question: What will support my intention?
You’ve set your intention, now allow your card to shape how you approach the week ahead.
My second card for my own challenge was the Ten of Wands, implying that my intention would be helped by deliberately setting aside less urgent responsibilities in order to focus on finding new ideas.
Day 3: Focus on Your Blessings
Question: What gifts and opportunities already surround me?
Recognize and appreciate the strengths, resources and support available to you right now.
For example, my card in answer to this question was the Hanged Man, which supported the suggestion to take some time out, and also reminded me that I have the ability to think outside the box and look at things from new angles – a useful strength.
Day 4: Release What No Longer Serves You
Question: What can I let go of now?
Allow the tarot to identify a habit, thought, or fear that’s holding you back and take a decisive step toward releasing it.
My own challenge here came up as the Knight of Pentacles. My need for certainty – to have everything planned and organised before acting – was holding me back from exploring new opportunities and I needed to loosen up!
Day 5: Ignite Your Creativity
Question: How can I express my true self?
Use your card as inspiration to create, whether through words, movement, art or a bold new idea.
I drew the Fool, suggesting that I look at things with fresh eyes and a beginner’s mind – not unlike the message of the Hanged Man. It also supports the idea that I could be more spontaneous, and it suggested to me that I take time to get out into nature more.
Your card will inspire you to different things and it’s your intuitive interpretation that matters. For instance, drawing the World card might inspire you to travel. On the other hand, the central figure could encourage you to take up dance as a means of expression.
Reflect and Celebrate
After your five-day adventure, look back on your journey – the insights and transformations of the past week. What has shifted? What new clarity has emerged?
My own result was to end the five days feeling much less driven. The tarot encouraged me to loosen up, be more relaxed about certain duties and chores, and be more spontaneous. I enjoyed using my imagination to see things differently and explore interesting possibilities with openness and curiosity, and several new plans did come up on a long walk in the countryside. It was great to step aside from the everyday routine for a bit and I felt refreshed and rejuvenated.
Why This Works
Tarot is not just about predicting the future – it’s about actively creating your reality. This challenge will show you how to manifest your path, your purpose and your vision – one intentional step at a time.
When you engage with tarot in this way, you’ll see beyond the surface of daily life and into the deeper patterns shaping your future. You’ll gain clarity, uncover hidden strengths and move with greater confidence toward what truly matters to you.
So, are you ready? Pick up your cards. Draw your first card. And step into the future you’re meant to create.
